ISSUES ETC IS DEAD - LONG LIVE ISSUES ETC!

I'M BAAAACK!  

It's been entirely too long since I have posted, I missed you!

For the two or three of you who didn't hear, Issues Etc was suddenly done away with.  Rev. Todd Wilken and Jeff Schwarz were fired without explanation or reason.  

It seems that synodical bureaucrats have been playing a few rounds of cover your ass since then.   I guess Jerry's Kids and Jerry had little understanding of how widely this program is listened to via podcast around the world.  

The layers of ineptness has truly been staggering.  While Jerry hides under his desk, my best guess is that David Strand, director of the Board for Communication Services and axe man is going to be Jerry's latest sacrificial lamb.  

Todd and Jeff have been canned, but I am happy for them because this will be the push out of the nest that they have been needing to soar to new heights.  They will come back, stronger and better.  With a more faithful listener base and more faithful donors.  Heck, I may even get out the crow bar and cough up a few cents.  

Issues Etc is dead, but it is far from forgotten.  Let's face it, Issues Etc. is a pretty lame name.  It was something that Todd inherited, maybe they can come up with a better name like - Ranting Reverend Live!

In the meantime, be sure and give the Synodical headquarters and KFUO AM hell.  Keep the calls and emails coming.
